DIARY PAGE 3: Dateline: New Years Eve 31 Dec 2001 PlacePondicherry, South East India?

Not much time left to do this as I’ve alread been on line for an hour and a half doing other things. Since the last update we have left Goa by rail and been to Hampi in Central Karnatica. We stayed there foir one week and it was certainly aq memorable place. There are so many temple ruins to see and their names so difficult to pronounce that you just can’t rember them all. But apart from that the scenery is just out of this world. Grahame was knocked out by it and has stayed on. I don’t know whether he is still there (probabley). I left on Boxing Day and have spent the last 5 days in Pondicherry. I’m off again tomorrow, New Years Day to Mamallapuram , 2.5 hours up the coast. No more time. I’ll fill in more details in the next report.
